Objectives
The objective of the GBCGC is to encourage ethical conduct, good business practices and professionalism in the green building practices. The council will foster cooperative action in advancing the common purpose of its members, sponsor education programs and activities for the advancement of green building to members and the public, and advance the image of the green building industry.
In addition, GBC will promote the common business interests of those engaged in green building and development. GBC will recommend such legislation and regulations that can help stimulate green building and recommend corrective action for those laws, rules or regulations that tend to discourage, stifle and impede green building.
